About Make-Up Exams

    Dear Students,

The application dates for the make-up exams for students who could not participate in the midterm exams during the Spring semester in our faculty are from April 15, 2024, to April 26, 2024.

Students who were unable to attend the midterm exams due to an excusable reason and wish to take the make-up exams are required to fill out the make-up exam application form and apply to the dean’s office in person within the application dates.

    IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

    Regarding Students with Medical Reports

Students who were unable to attend exams due to medical reasons must pay attention to the following:

    1. Only reports that are stamped and signed from institutions with which the Social Security Institution (SGK) has an agreement are considered valid.
    2. Reports obtained from institutions abroad will be taken into account only if they are translated and certified by a sworn translator.
    3. Reports obtained from non-SGK affiliated institutions (such as clinics, dental clinics, etc.) or those lacking a stamp or seal will not be considered.
    4. Reports submitted as photocopies, photographs, or by email will not be accepted. Original reports with wet signatures must be submitted.
    5. Hourly medical reports are not valid. At least one-day reports obtained according to the first item will be considered.
    6. Students must not attend exams during the period for which they have a medical report. If students take some exams during their medical report period, their other reports for different exams will not be considered.

    Regarding Other Excusable Reasons

    • For unavoidable excuses other than health reasons, students must apply to the dean’s office with their application form and supporting documents explaining their excuse. If the documents are in a foreign language, they must be translated into Turkish by a sworn translator.

Make-up exam applications are evaluated by the faculty executive board. Students may be permitted to take the make-up exam if approved by the board
